Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using eastcountyfuture.org (the “Site”).
The Site is operated by East County Citizens for Community Colleges (“ECC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) in connection with its support of Measure G.
By accessing or using this Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Purpose of the Site
This Site provides information about Measure G, Grossmont College, Cuyamaca College, and the campaign supporting Measure G.
The Site may also allow visitors to:
Express support for Measure G
Authorize campaign advocacy communications
Join the campaign
Sign up for email or text message updates
Learn about campaign activities
Access campaign and ballot-measure information
Volunteer or otherwise participate in campaign activities
Make contributions through third-party services
You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes.
2. Form Submissions and Information You Provide
When submitting information through this Site, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you are submitting your own information.
You may not:
Submit information while impersonating another individual
Knowingly submit false or misleading information
Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the Site
Use forms for spam, harassment, or unlawful purposes
3. Authorization to Send Advocacy Communications
Certain forms on this Site may allow you to authorize East County Citizens for Community Colleges to send a letter, petition, message, or other communication on your behalf in support of Measure G.
By checking the applicable authorization box and submitting the form, you authorize East County Citizens for Community Colleges to use the information you provide to prepare, submit, or deliver advocacy communications reflecting your support for Measure G.
Depending on the communication, this may include your:
Name
ZIP code or general location
Stated support for Measure G
Message or comments you voluntarily provide
Such communications may be delivered to elected officials, public agencies, community leaders, media organizations, or other appropriate recipients in connection with the campaign.
Your authorization is voluntary.
4. Email Communications
If you separately elect to receive campaign emails, East County Citizens for Community Colleges may send you information relating to Measure G, including campaign updates, events, election information, volunteer opportunities, fundraising communications, and ways to take action.
You may unsubscribe from campaign emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in the email.
5. SMS / Text Messaging Program
Program Description
By opting in to the East County Citizens for Community Colleges text messaging program, you agree to receive periodic SMS or MMS messages from East County Citizens for Community Colleges concerning Measure G and related campaign activities.
Messages may include:
Measure G campaign updates
Election and voting reminders
Volunteer opportunities
Event information
Calls to action
Fundraising or contribution opportunities
Other information relating to the campaign and East County community colleges
Message frequency may vary.
Message and data rates may apply.
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and service plan.
Consent
Your consent to receive text messages is voluntary.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of supporting Measure G, authorizing a letter on your behalf, making a contribution, or otherwise participating in the campaign.
By submitting your mobile number through an SMS opt-in form and affirmatively selecting the applicable consent checkbox, you confirm that:
You are authorized to provide the mobile number submitted
You consent to receive campaign text messages at that number
You understand that message frequency may vary
You understand that message and data rates may apply
Your SMS consent applies only to communications from East County Citizens for Community Colleges and its service providers acting on its behalf.
How to Opt Out
You may cancel text messages at any time by replying:
STOP
After you opt out, you may receive a final confirmation message stating that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive additional campaign SMS messages unless you later opt in again.
East County Citizens for Community Colleges will also honor valid requests to stop text communications received through other reasonable channels.

Supported Carriers and Delivery
Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is outside the complete control of East County Citizens for Community Colleges.
Privacy
Your participation in the SMS program is also governed by our
Privacy Policy.Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Service providers may process information solely as necessary to operate the messaging program on our behalf.
6. Contributions
The Site may contain links to third-party platforms through which visitors may make political contributions.
Any contribution is subject to applicable campaign-finance laws and the terms and privacy practices of the contribution-processing platform.
East County Citizens for Community Colleges reserves the right to reject, refund, or otherwise address a contribution when necessary to comply with applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the text, graphics, logos, campaign materials, design elements, and other content appearing on the Site are owned by, licensed to, or used with permission by East County Citizens for Community Colleges.
You may view and share campaign materials for personal and noncommercial purposes consistent with the campaign’s intended use.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit Site content without permission where such permission is required.
8. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to websites and resources operated by third parties.
These links are provided for informational or functional purposes. East County Citizens for Community Colleges does not control and is not responsible for the availability, content, security, terms, or privacy practices of third-party websites.
Use of third-party websites is subject to their respective terms and policies.
9. Disclaimer
Information provided on this Site is made available for general campaign and informational purposes.
Although we make reasonable efforts to keep Site information accurate and current, we do not guarantee that all information will be complete, error-free, or continuously available.
The Site and its contents are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, East County Citizens for Community Colleges and its officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
